CU Senior Finishes Second At Rocky Mountain Shootout

The top-ranked men and second-rated CU women's teams both won the Division I team titles at the Rocky Mountain Shootout.

The Buffs are hosting the 30th Annual Rocky Mountain Shootout on Saturday with races at 9 and 9:45 a.m.

The CU men are ranked first and the women are second in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll.

There were no changes for Colorado's cross country program in the latest poll with the men holding down the top spot and the women at third overall.

The University of Colorado women's cross country team moved up to third in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll, while the men held strong at No. 1.

Zach Perrin recorded his first collegiate victory on Friday night at the Colorado State Invitational, his first cross country meet in a CU uniform since the 2013 NCAA Championship.

Few teams enter the 2015 NCAA Cross Country season with the high expectations that CU does, but that is what happens when a single team has been so successful for the last few years.
