The University of Colorado men's cross country team dropped one spot in this weeks' USTFCCCA Coaches Poll to sixth-place. The women also moved down one position to 17th.

There was little change in the first USTFCCCA Coaches Poll of the 2012 cross country season for CU as the men held on to the fifth-place position and the women dropped three spots to 16th.

The 2012 cross country season got off to a good start for the University of Colorado on Saturday morning with several great individual performances at the time trial.

The 2012 CU cross country season officially starts on Saturday, Sept. 1 as the Buffs will host the CU Alumni/Open/Time Trial at the Buffalo Ranch Cross Country Course on CU's South Campus.
