Emily Covert, a junior at Colorado, took third in the Pac-12 women's championship race at the Ag-Ops course in Riverside, Calif. Covert covered the 6-kilometer layout in 19:23.8 to help the Buffaloes repeat as champion and secure their sixth women's team title overall after Colorado matched Utah with 66 points, but prevailed on a head-to-head tiebreaker. Covert was second overall last year at the conference final in Utah.
